Socialising in Muswell Hill
Muswell Hill is very popular with young people from all over North London. This is because there are many bars and pubs and some excellent restaurants. 
Perhaps the best known pub is O'Neils, which is better known as the Church Pub, because it is in a beautiful building which was originally a church. There is also the Village Bar which was built as a dairy, and where all the milk from the farms in the area was collected. There has been a pub at the top of Muswell Hill since the 15th century, and The Hill is still friendly and welcoming.
You can eat many different kinds of food in Muswell Hill. There are restaurants specialising in Indian, Thai, Greek, Chinese, Italian, Mediterranean, Turkish and American food as well as our famous award winning fish and chip restaurant, Toffs. You can also find plenty of places in Muswell Hill to relax over a cup of coffee.
There is a 3 screen Odeon cinema in Muswell Hill which shows the latest blockbuster films, and a few minutes bus ride away in East Finchley, is the Phoenix Cinema where you can see more unusual films.
If you want to dance the night away, you don't have to go to an expensive central London nightclub. You'll find N10 and The Hill in Muswell Hill have different nights for various styles of dance music.
