This exciting Summer Vacation course is designed for teenagers aged 12 – 17 years who want to improve their English, make friends, explore London and enjoy fun social activities.
The Explore London Experience offers teenagers the opportunity to learn English and have a a fun vacation but also guarantees parents a high level of supervision and a commitment to safety.
The Explore London Experience weekly programme includes –
15 full hours English tuition per week with enthusiastic, professional teachers
4 half day excursions to central London
1 half day of activities or relaxation
1 full day excursion outside London

The living accommodation
The residence is a modern building next to the college where your lessons will take place. It is in north London, 5 minutes’ walk from the Underground station (approximately 35 minutes from the centre of London). Bedrooms are single or twin rooms, with a shared living area and bathrooms between 8 rooms. There is free WiFi available for those students who have their own devices, and a self-service launderette on site (small charge).
The homestay accommodation is offered to students aged 16 and 17 years only. It is situated in the local area, and offers single or twin rooms. Students will have breakfast with their homestay hosts, and all other meals at the college. This option allows a little more independence to the older students.
The meals
You will have tasty, healthy meals with many options including vegetarian. You will eat breakfast,lunch and dinner at the college where you have your lessons. Packed lunches are provided on the days you have full excursions.
The lessons
All the teaching is in a college next to the residence. The lessons are given by carefully chosen, trained teachers and include all language skills, project and diary work and preparation for excursions. We take your language learning seriously but we help you learn through fun activities. Our maximum class size is 15 students.
The excursions
On the Explore London Experience we help you really explore London and return home with wonderful memories. We include more excursions in the programme than any other teenage courses so you really get to know and love London – one of the most exciting cities in the world. And - all your admission fees and travel are included. Over the 5 weeks of the programme, the excursions include - Buckingham Palace, Madame Tussauds, The Tower of London, The London Eye, Oxford Street, Brighton, Cambridge...and many more!
Free afternoon
There is one free afternoon a week when students can relax and spend time with their new friends, do art activities or play sports. Students are of course still supervised during this period.
Evening fun
Our events organisers arrange disco nights, fun competitions, international events, fancy dress competitions, cinema nights, and much much more, so you enjoy yourself with your new international friends. There will also be two evenings each week where students can rest or relax in the residence or with their homestay hosts.
