The Explore London Experience

This exciting Summer Vacation course is designed for teenagers aged 13 – 17 years who want to improve their English, make friends, explore London and enjoy exciting sports and social activities.

The Explore London Experience offers teenagers the opportunity to learn English and have a a fun vacation but also guarantees parents a high level of supervision and a commitment to safety.

The Explore London Experience weekly programme includes –

• 15 full hours English tuition per week with enthusiastic, professional teachers
• 3 half day excursions central London
• 2 half days of sports & activities
• 1 full day excursion outside London

The living accommodation

The Explore London Experience uses a modern university residence in North West London, zone 4 on the underground. (About 25 minutes from the centre). You will have a single room in an apartment of 6 bedrooms with a communal room for relaxing.  Each bedroom has its own small bathroom with shower, washbasin & toilet. The 3 or 4 storey blocks are grouped around a grassed area and the whole site is fenced & security patrolled.  At the centre of the residence is an early 20^th century house where you will have some of your evening activities. A self service launderette is also available on site (small charge).

The meals

You will have tasty, healthy meals with many options including vegetarian.  You will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the college where you have your lessons.  We also include an evening snack which you will eat in your apartment.  During the weekends you will have packed lunches.

The lessons

All the teaching is in a college 10 minutes walk from the residence. The lessons are given by carefully chosen, trained teachers and include all language skills, project and diary work and preparation for excursions.  We take your language learning seriously but we help you learn through fun activities.  Our maximum class size is 15 students.

The excursions

On the Explore London Experience we help you really explore London and return home with wonderful memories.  We include more excursions in the programme than other teenage courses so you really get to know and love London – one of the most exciting cities in the world.  And - all your admission fees and travel are included.  Over the 4 weeks of the programme, the excursions include -

• Brighton , etc, etc

Sports and activities

Two times a week, you can choose between sports such as basketball, volleyball or football, or take part in art or drama workshops.  The workshops and some of the sports take place at the college where you have lessons.

Evening fun

Our events organisers arrange disco nights, fun competitions, international events, fancy dress competitions, cinema nights, and much much more, so you make many international friends.
