Help yourself learn

You will learn more quickly if you do extra work as well as your lessons.  These are some of the ways you can help yourself learn.

Homework

  • project work
  • grammar exercises
  • reading including reading authentic materials such as newspaper articles.

  • research your homework
  • access English language learning sites
  • use specialist language learning CD Roms

Cafeteria & Garden

We ask you to speak only English in the cafeteria and garden so you increase the amount of time you are using English.  You can also -

Students speak

"I  have spent a month in Excel English and I have enjoyed it very much.  I have to say that it is really a beautiful place.  The classes, the library and also the computer room make us feel comfortable and give us a good environment in which to study.  In front of the school there is a nice terrace where students can sit during the breaks, drink tea or coffee from the canteen, and talk together."
